The updated team colors draw inspiration from Orange County's rich citrus heritage and distinctive art deco designs. This brand evolution embodies both a deep sense of community pride and ambitious future goals.

✨ A’ja Wilson and Nike Basketball unveiled her new signature logo, inspired by her unique autograph style that always features a star in her A. Nike released a limited edition of tees showcasing the new logo, which sold out within days. Fans quickly noticed that A’ja had been sporting her new logo on her chain for months, reminding us that her signature collection has been in the planning stages for a while now.

🗿 A new statue of Ja Morant was showcased at Gersh Park in Brooklyn, NY, as part of Nike's NYvsNY experiential campaign. However, the statue is gaining viral attention for all the wrong reasons, echoing similar statue production issues seen with recent sports statues of Kobe Bryant (typos on base) and Allen Iverson (widely criticized for his statue being too small).

🎄 The Kansas City Chiefs and Hallmark have teamed up to create a Christmas-themed rom-com titled 'Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story'. Although no Chiefs players (or their girlfriends) have yet to be revealed as part of the cast yet, both brands are confident in the collaboration. They highlight that over half of Hallmark Channel viewers also tuned into sports during last year's Countdown to Christmas in 2023, making this partnership a winning combination.

👟 An innovative pre- and post-game recovery boot is set to debut at the Paris Olympics, thanks to a collaboration between Nike x Hyperice. After more than two years of development, this high-top design incorporates advanced recovery technology to accelerate an athlete’s recovery. The boot will be utilized by both the Team USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams during the 2024 Summer Olympics. This partnership envisions a future where such technical advancements become standard for athletes across all levels.

⛳️ TMRW Sports (co-founded by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Mike McCarley) announced the close of its Series A investment round with a $500 million valuation. The company’s first project is TGL Golf, a new team golf league that combines advanced tech and live action with six teams of PGA TOUR superstars and will launch in January in prime time on ESPN and ESPN+.
